day 6 Will To Accomplish

  I was nominated by my friend Svanhild Lovli , a reputed poetess from Norway to participate in the Poetic Marathon # PeetMeNotLeave For eight days I am supposed to continually publish my own poems along with photographs. The poems will be Translated into Russian almanac Each day I will nominate one of my friends to do the same. Today I will ask my dear face book friend # Menu Tamang from Bhutan  to take part and to carry the torch and nominate one of her friends each day.  Today , presenting my sixth poem. Oh! God Let the goblet of my life Remain half filled. So that  endeavours  persist To fill it. When goblet is brimmed A fear follows Lest it should Splash and scatter. When goblet is half filled Endeavour  persists To gather some more Drops in it. The purposefulness That is associated with efforts Is missing in perfection. LIGHT HOUSE In the long, Unfamiliar Journey of life Whenever mind Starts wandering In dark alleys Howsoever, mind Might be misguided So many storms So many thunders Making mind so restless Like a lighthouse Amidst sea You will always be My guiding star.
