4. TELEPATHY, STAGE AND BACKSTAGE Whom to trust Stage or backstage? All the articles of backstage Become visible That are treated it as invisible on stage But, stage too is cremation ground of truth Tears shed on stage are pretentious And, stage is the most fertile land of Duality One holding bouquet of flowers on stage Was sharpening edges of knife backstage One acting as jester on stage Was crying bitterly backstage The dancer with eccentric gaze Was having fiery eyes backstage And the announcer had been abusing Vulgarly backstage How much disparity prevails In external and internal craft It is as challenging to Interpret thicket growing internally To decipher a face scribbled with diplomacy As it is to know location of the East From killers of the dawn There might have been an era When, stages had no need of back stages When double standards had not existed in life. 5. HOW CAN BE IT DEFINED? ************************* What is it That links us. Wetness of flour is never definite Perhaps there are techniques of mending it Even after flour getting wet. This moonlight had once diffused in Pitch black nights I am still bathing in it And you, too. Pale grass, peeping out of stones On receiving a bit of wind and azure Turns lush green ।I am aghast at daring attitude of rivers In extremely narrow and curved routes Their flow becomes even faster And, then, while merging into sea Just observe how their arms are stretched Gone are the days When stones tested love Since then, enough water has flown in rivers Presently, for examining an established love Time tries hand at new tactics. Often time challenges love In my neighbourhood, Emptying canisters of kitchen Beats these Often, he fondly invites love Showing a piece of romantic moments Around which he has spread A net composed of tears At times, allures and make...

1. PEOPLE WERE DROWNING ************************** People were drowning Just slogans of saving them Could not fetch them to bank People were in a state of shock. Just assurance of saving them Could not save their life. People were dwelling in dark Dream of fetching light Could not turn into reality. Several persons are poking fun of them But, who will intimate them Several people are shedding tears On their laughter. Since long, I have moved on To flush colors in flowers for him But, observing my helplessness He spoke out his heart to me " You move away from here So that breeze of new spring flows." They show their love towards these By addressing as companion And at other times address as Having closeness of breath. With the same intense sincerity They tie laces of their shoes And with equal fondness Shine them by polishing. Balloon Seller ************** It was week-end. We planned to dine out in our favourite hotel. It is pleasant to spend some quality time with family, after a hectic week in office. Near the parking area, a half clad, young boy of about eight years was selling balloons. Multi-colored balloons seemed very tempting. And the way, in which that little boy was inviting all to buy these, seemed still more imploring. My grandson insisted on buying two big balloons. I asked him, " Is one balloon not enough for you? Why are you insisting upon two?'' The answer that he gave, simply left me dumb-founded. He said, "Granny, of course, I need only one for myself. But, I am insisting on buying two as I will love to gift the other one to this little balloon seller. He is selling balloons whole day, to render support to his family. I am sure, he does not have money to spend for buying one for himself ". Impressed by his empathy , I consented to buy two, instead of one. The gl...

PRELUSION FRAISE AND FOUNDATION After soulful thanks to Almighty for showering His choicest blessings on me for successful completion of ' Fraise and Foundation' my English Poetry Book, within 21 days, I would like to extend my heartiest thanks to voracious global readers for constantly devouring my all literary works in multi-languages. " Writing a book of poetry is like dropping a rose petal down the Grand Canyon and waiting for the echo", said Don, the critic. Poetry is the world's premier human eloquence, a sheer spontaneous out flowing of sentiments, from the innermost recesses of heart and should be felt in the art of voracious readers. Poetry touches every inch of habitable earth and acquires cultural conquest. It is also cultivating culture. I penned my first poem in 1970 and kept composing poems in Hindi and English off and on; but absolute commitment to pen- crafting poems began in 1989 and I have been treading literary corridors continually since then,...

Instead of taking solo flight They flied in flock Seeing their tactics Eagles were now in a shock.
