Sanwar Daiya 

Birth October 10, 1948     Demise July 30, 1992

An eminent Educationist  and well-known Modern Rajasthani writer and translator in Rajasthani and Hindi. In Editorial Board of  two reputed Journals 'Shivira' and 'Naya Shikshak', published by Department of Govt. Education Rajasthan

Works

He wrote Man-gat, kal ar aaj re bichchai, Huve Rang Hajar, Akhar Ri Aankh Soon and short stories collections including Ek Duniya Mahari, Asawade Paswade, Ek Hi Jilad me, Dharti Kad Tani Dhumeli. 

12 books published in his life time and seceral others still due for publication.

Co -Authored more than 100 books. His many books translated in Telugu, Marathi and English

He translated Anil Joshi’ Stechyoo in Rajasthani, besides translating many books from Gujrati into Hindi and Rajasthani

Awards

He was awarded by Sahitya Akademi, Delhi for his "Ek Duniya mahri" in 1985. He was awarded with Ganeshilal Vyas ‘Ustad’ Padhya Puraskar and Dr. L P Tessitory Gadhya Puruskar.
