A DROP OR TWO

My throat is parched

I am so restless


Water, water 

Where are you

Sprinkle down 

A drop or two


Up and down

Is all 

I think about you.


Water, water

Time to stop

I don't need 

Another drop.


Birds and animals are

Happy now

But toads splash

In puddles

Covering all.
