Bearing

Chilling winter and frost

Storm and rain

You are standing aloof

In midst of desert


During famine of 1956

You bestowed life 

On human-beings 

With your pods and bark


Perhaps due to 

Your this sacrifice only

You have been given medal of

State tree.
