POEMS OF DEENDAYAL SHARMA

DEENDAYAL SHARMA

CHILD.1

 Parents don't allow their children

To play with soil

Then how will children

Nurture attachment with soil

Probably

Due to this reason only

Children migrate abroad

After getting mature.

CHILD.2

Nobody wants to

Converse with children

Probably

 Due to reason that

In every conversation of child

Is hidden a question.

CHILD. 3

Child becomes normal again

In a very short span

After being thrashed

Child does not

Tie a knot in his heart

And we

Grown up people

Tie a knot in our heart

On petty issues

Without any reason.

CHILD. 4

A child gains

Satiety so easily

Derives happiness

From petty objects

Of meager price

And trusts so easily

On what others tell him

Child does not know

Meaning of riot

But learns these things

From us

By and by

Becomes one like us.

5. CITY

During journey by bus

Son asked his ripe aged mother

Maa, you have grown so old

Your vision is failing you

You are not able to hear properly

Then

How do you sense that

We are nearing city

Maa responded in shaky voice

My sense of smell is still okay

When gust of foul smell

Strikes against my nose

I can sense very well that

We have reached city.
