Hiroshima -Nagasaki

 "Sir ! This is proposed

Mahajan Field Firing Range."


Saying so

He pointed with finger 

On lines of map

On a space covered by thumb


Walls of our homes were shaken 

And cracks appeared in them


They kept on clapping

With utter confidence

On their success


Ceilings of our houses

Floor of courtyard

Disappeared abruptly


For them 

It was a sheer place

Covered with thumb

For us glorious identity

Since generations.


As soon as 

They signed

Official documents 


Our names

Started vanishing from map

Our villages turned into

Hiroshima and Nagasaki
