 WHILE DEPARTING  : KUNDAN MALI

WHILE DEPARTING

Times often

He moves away from home

To manage his job and livelihood

Members of family

Start giving piece of advice

And mother bestows blessings

As soon as you reach there

Drop a word

Regarding your well-being

We have come to know

There is excessive heat

And extreme cold over there

Take good care of your health

Take proper diet

Even if anyone abuses you

Tolerate it patiently

Always keep in mind

That you are going to foreign land

For sake of earning

Not for waging war

 

Never speak on high tone

While dealing with Boss

Treat your neighbours 

Affectionately

Never spoil terms with them

You might have to suffer

A bit monetary loss

Bear it

But nobody should

Speak ill of your family

As a natural demeanour 

Her elder sister instructed

Don't bear discomfort 

In foreign land

Whenever you need

Ask us for money

We can manage here

 Anyways

We are at our native place only

Not in foreign land

Keep on visiting us

On auspicious days and festivals

You are not alone

We all are with you

Attached with you

Brothers and friends

Came along till bus-stand

To see him off

They kept on conversing constantly

We indulge into

Affairs of whole world

We land into 

Deep vallies of reveries

While still chatting

The bus arrives

 And luggage is loaded in bus

He hurriedly gets into the bus

In blink of an eye

The bus leaves its place

Remain behind standing

Chums, friends and brothers

As if, standing behind is

A banyan tree

And the bird

Sitting on it so far

Has taken flight far away.
