PATCHED HEART

It is not for the first time

That this heart has been patched

Prior to this as well

I had stitched 

Torn pieces of my heart.

SHATTERING OF HEART

I have seen life developing

I have seen life breaking

Seen it surviving

Seen it dying

But, shattering of heart

I have seen for the first time

No noise.

And it broke into pieces.

HEART-BEATS

My heart is beating

Sometimes, heart beats are slow

Sometimes, I pant

I heave deep breaths

I you mention of being alive

I am surviving.

ANGUISH

Habit of 

Crying in pain 

Has ended abruptly

After getting indifferent

Tears dry on 

Corners of eyes

Anguish has mingled

In the inner cores of heart.

ARID- ROOTS

Of what use are

Arid roots

Root

Gives birth to 

Growing plant

It flourishes into tree

Rich with branches, foliage 

Fruits and flowers

That green root only

Has utility

Don't turn into 

Arid roots

Keep growing

By mingling 

In hearts of all

Keep flourishing is

The gist of life.
